Known for her roles on Broadway, movies and television, most recently roles in Law and Order, and Nip/Tuck. Clayburgh is survived by husband, playwright David Rabe, a son and stepson. Her daughter, actress Lily Rabe, has taken a leave of absence from the soon to open Broadway play Merchant of Venice with Al Pacino to mourn the loss of her mother.
Jill Clayburgh is a sad loss for Hollywood, and a great actress. What was your favorite role she played? I personally loved her on Ally McBeal.
