Adam Jasinski, "Big Brother" winner of last year is arrested. Adam Jasinski of "Big Brother" sold drugs. Adam Jasinski of "Big Brother" is in really big trouble.

Adam Jasinski from "Big Brother" wasn't arrested for selling crack cocaine on a street corner on Skid Row; he was arrested for attempting to sell 2,000 oxycodone pills to someone wearing a police wiretap.

Adam Jasinski decided to "invest" his winnings from "Big Brother" on drugs. While everyone was losing money in the stock market, Adam Jasinski was getting his feet wet in the world of drug dealing. However, Adam Jasinski's "Big Brother" winnings investment went bust as well: if convicted of the charges he faces a $1 million fine.

Adam Jasinski sold the drugs to an undercover government witness. When he removed the drugs - which were concealed in a sock in his pant leg - authorities swooped in. According to TMZ, Adam Jasinski put up a fight. He didn't go away quietly.

It's sad to see what winning a large sum of money does to people. Adam Jasinski's "Big Brother" earnings could have purchased him a modest home and a nice car. He could have stuck the "Big Brother" earnings in an FDIC-insured account and waited for interest rates to improve.

No. Adam Jasinski's "Big Brother" earnings were invested in drugs. His greed and desire to make quick money consumed him.

Adam Jasinski is not alone. Willie Hurt from Lansing, Michigan won $3.1 million in 1989. He spent his fortune on crack cocaine and was charged with murder. Charles Riddle of Belleville, Michigan won 41 million in 1975, and was subsequently indicted for selling cocaine.

Susan Bradley, a Certified Financial Planner from Palm Beach, Florida told MSN Money the following: In our culture, there is a widely held belief that money solves problems. People think if they had more money, their troubles would be over. When a family receives sudden money, they frequently learn that money can cause as many problems as it solves.

This is exactly the case for Adam Jasinski, "Big Brother" winner. While he thought his $500,000 winnings would bring him a bankroll - an easy lifestyle filled with quick cash, flashy cars, and beautiful women - what they really brought him was his worst nightmare.

Adam Jasinksi will most likely inhabit a room with people he's never met before. This time, there's no prize on the line and no cameras rolling.

A perfect example about how money - or temporarily winning it- doesn't automatically guarantee happiness. This reminds me of lottery winners who go from riches to rags within years.
