Adam Lambert Bio from a Huge Fan

American Idol Star, Adam Lambert, Loves to Perform

An Adam Lambert bio is an easy assignment for this 'close to middle-age', mid-western woman. Adam Lambert is a blue-eyed, Aquarius that can sing his heart out no matter what the musical genre. I totally fell in love with Adam Lambert last season on American Idol at the San Francisco auditions when he did his rendition of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody", and then kissed the ladies hands before he left the audition room. I immediately had to know everything that I could find about this amazingly talented young man named Adam Lambert.

Adam is twenty seven years old, having been born January 29, 1982 in Indianapolis, Indiana. When quite young, his parents moved the family to Rancho Peñasquitos near San Diego where Adam Lambert grew up and attended grade school at Deer Canyon Elementary School.

At age of 10 Adam Lambert played the part of Linus in the play "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" at the San Diego Lyceum Theater and he caught the performing bug then and there. Voice lessons came next for Adam Lambert, and then he began taking roles in other plays such as Technicolor Dreamcoat, Chess and Grease. At Mt. Carmel High School he was part of the theater group, sang in the choir and performed with the jazz band.

Once he graduated from high school, Adam Lambert moved to Orange County to go to college. But he quickly realized that his real talent lay in performing and that is what he wanted to do. So he moved to Los Angeles and attempted to take on the theater world while working multiple part time jobs.

In 2004 Adam Lambert, at the Kodak Theater, had a small part in The Ten Commandments: The Musical with Val Kilmer. Although it was a small role for Adam Lambert, it was critically noteworthy of his talents. He also had regular performances at the Zodiac Show and Adam Lambert performed at the Upright Cabaret. Adam Lambert had an understudy role for the character of Fiyero in the Los Angeles casts of "Wicked".

America discovered Adam Lambert in early 2009 when he became one of the most talented contestants ever on the hit show American Idol. The eighth season of American Idol featured Adam Lambert and his amazing weekly performances that had the press and all of America talking. Favorite performances included his renditions of "Mad World", "Black and White" and "Born To Be Wild".
