Adam Lambert Cancelled from the Jimmy Kimmel Show This Time - but Debut Album "For Your Entertainment" by Adam Lambert Hits #3 on Billboard Charts

Adam Lambert Cancelled from Another ABC Show, This Time It's the Jimmy Kimmel Show

This morning's news brought word that ABC has cancelled another performance by Adam Lambert on their network following the controversial AMA performance of November 22nd. Evidently ABC has now cancelled Adam Lambert from appearing on The Jimmy Kimmel Show.

Prior to the Adam Lambert performance at the AMAs, Adam Lambert was booked for an outdoor performance on The Jimmy Kimmel Show on December 17th. But then came the controversial AMA performance that garnered just over 1,500 complaints from viewers to ABC and started a media storm about the young performer. The fallout included Adam Lambert being cancelled from ABC's family oriented morning show "Good Morning America".

CBS was quick to pick up Adam Lambert for their morning show, "CBS Early Morning" but there was controversy with that decision in that CBS then showed a clip of the AMA performance and they blurred out some of the performance. This caused a fervor of Gay-Rights organizations on CBS.

Meanwhile in the midst of the entire swirl, Adam Lambert released his debut album "For Your Entertainment and it has now debuted at #3 on the Billboard charts. Adam Lambert's debut album sold 195,974 copies last week. As a comparison point the American Idol winner, Kris Allen, sold just 80,000 copies of his debut, self titled album that first week it was released.

Some major entertainment giants have very positive reviews for Adam Lambert's debut "For Your Entertainment":

People Magazine had this to say about the Adam Lambert debut: "The season 8 runner-up wins the battle that really counts with a confident, I-know-who-I-am display of glam pop-rock."

Rolling Stone called the Adam Lambert debut: "Super catchy glam rock with an electro-pop edge"

And Spin Magazine has posted this: "...Lambert's polymorphous vocal skills unite dance floor strut and hard-rock pomp in a convincing glam package."

So while ABC seems to continue to have a problem with the flamboyant Adam Lambert other networks are just fine with the young musician. Thus far Adam Lambert has drawn very high numbers on his appearances on David Letterman, Ellen DeGeneres and The Early Show.

Adam Lambert is also currently scheduled for an interview with Barbara Walters on her special "10 Most Fascinating People" show that will air December 9th on ABC - assuming they don't cancel that. And Adam Lambert on December 14th will be on the "The Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien".

So with a successful start on the debut of his album and a series of appearances slated it would seem that Adam Lambert is off to a flourishing start on his musical career. I, for one, will certainly be watching and reporting on this rising star.

I have not heard or read anything about this person. However, is the network and show privately owned?

Pink did the EXACT same move with her male dancer in 2004 on FOX, and live no less. You don't remember??? You don't remember because no one made a peep about it. You can see Pink grinding her male dancers head into her crotch right here (better clutch your bible): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPpSpBcs4wg

I see people reacting to this but where are the publicists?
Are you guys from the media letting this junta take over? No response from the liberal point of view?
    What's going on?
