Adam Lambert Debut Album Release Date is Same Day as Susan Boyle
Both Adam Lambert and Susan Boyle Will Battle for Album Sales on November 24th, 2009
Adam Lambert is of course the runner-up from the last season of American Idol. He not only performed brilliantly, but with some of his live performances, really established himself as a rocker that could be very successful in the industry. Both Adam Lambert and his fans have moved on from American Idol, and are looking for that first big break that will establish him as a solo recording artist. It's clear that Adam Lambert will perform best in front of a band, but we will see from his first album whether he sticks with rock and roll, or goes more towards a mix of poppy and alternative songs. The world is waiting to hear what he does next.
On the other side of the aisle is Susan Boyle, who placed as the runner-up on her own reality competition show. Susan Boyle was on Britain's Got Talent, another Simon Cowell show over in Britain, where she gained a huge following for her great voice. Her emotional singing is sure to also bring in a ton of record sales in the end, and it's clear that she will be a successful artist in the end as well. The key for Susan Boyle will be promotion, and just how many people realize that her album will be on store shelves the same day as the enigmatic Adam Lambert.
For Adam Lambert and Susan Boyle, they have already both established themselves as stars of the music industry. They are both great singers in their own right, and have proven they can generate sales already through pre-sales of their albums. Adam Lambert soared to #1 on the Amazon sales chart with just pre-sales, and Susan Boyle looks to do the same thing very soon. A learning disability woman name Susan who is overweight, no easy on the eyes and a blind man from Italy killing everyone (Adam included) in the chart for 3rd straight week? How can anyone predict that?
wow, you were way off! Susan and humbleness for the win! She still sold another half million this week while adam only sold 50K, boy I think you should sty out of the predicting business, Susan has alredy sold a million records! I dont think adam is even gonna sell half a million to tell you the truth. its all hype
So, how do we feel in retrospect?.
Predictions of 2 to 1 for Adam and it turns out it was over 3 to 1 for Susan.
Adam is also releasing world-wide. Time will tell but my money is on Mr. Lambert!
Here we have two completely different styles. Both absolutely stunning, in their own way. I look forward to both albums. Susan never gets old for me, Adam will be one that you can listen to often, but not all the time. Susan had no exposure before, and Adam has had a lot of theatrical experience. My favorite song by Adam is from The Ten Commandments. Is Anybody Listening. Now THAT is a show stopper.
When I heard SB on You Tube, I said she can sing with that beautiful voice. But I never dream of buying an album and listen to her all day. But anything ADAM sings, I can listen all day because I've been doing that but once was enough for me from Susan. And besides, Charlotte Martin's version of Wild Horses is much better than SB. In singing, ADAM excites while Susan is good once in a while. ADAM is IT!
Andrew if you are in your right mind you will know who is Adam. He is the best thing that ever happend on American idol.

you're entitled to your opinion, but there is no way susan will every surpass adam...i like her but she's done, i would not pay to see her/voice is ok but never be a patti lapone nor and elaine paige(her idol) in fact betty buckley slays her big time...so susafan if you are compairing stick those ladies cause adam is gonna wash the floor with her...
