Adam Lambert Does Aerosmith's Cryin'

American Idol is Ready for the Final Showdown, but No One Can Beat Adam Lambert

On American Idol tonight it was time for the judges to select the songs that the Idols would perform. I can't say that I was overjoyed with any of the song selections by the infamous American Idol judges this year. But Adam Lambert rose to the top of the occasion with his usual style and confidence that will propel him to win the Idol Title next week.

American Idol is down to the final three and it's time to vote America - that is, vote for Adam Lambert. Ever since January when we were first introduced to Adam Lambert I have been fascinated with the very unique and talented Adam.

Every time he steps on the American Idol stage I hold my breath in anticipation of what he will do this time, and every time Adam Lambert amazes me with his song interpretation and raw talent. From "Satisfaction" to "Black and White" to "Mad World" it has been an amazing ride watching Adam Lambert steal the hearts of America, song by song.

Tonight Adam sang the song "One" by U2. It was good, very good, certainly better than anything that Kris Allen or Danny Gokey could have done with the song. And Simon helped Adam Lambert with the arrangement.

But Adam Lambert's version of Aerosmith's Cryin' was much, much better. And this time Adam Lambert did the arranging on his own. He did a much better job with this song than with "One". Adam Lambert knows exactly what he can sing, which is honestly just about anything. He truly knows about showmanship and how to best pick songs and design performances to sell Adam Lambert.

While Danny Gokey and Kris Allen still struggle with figuring out exactly who they are and what they want to represent with their music, Adam Lambert already knows who he is. Adam knows where his unique qualities lie and he uses them to his best advantage every time he takes the stage. Danny Gokey and Kris Allen are good and talented, but they are not good enough to beat Adam Lambert.

Another solid performance by Adam Lambert tonight with beautifully interpreted music and that is all Adam needs to be the next American Idol. And no doubt about it in my mind, Adam Lambert won this American Idol competition weeks ago. So America, you need to be voting, voting for Adam Lambert.

This whole season Adam has shown America what a true international superstar looks like..and last night was no exception. Adam Lambert is the American Idol whether he wins next week or not. What a unique, gifted, amazing person he is. He gives us a little part of himself everytime he sings and I feel energized by his electricity. Good luck Adam!!! You rock!

The voting is very close apparently.

I really hope Adam gets through. The final will be a travesty without him.

The backup singer on Cryin' was horrible! She should be fired. Look past that and concentrate on Adam's vocals and you will see his talent.

Adam is AMAZING@! He is so talented and has entertained us all season. He has earned the Idol crown. Vote Adam@! I am also proud of Adam because I work for the VA and while Adam was home he went to Miramar to sing for the troops and their families. He also visited the kids at his high school drama and signing departments and went back to the performing arts center where he started performing. He is truly the most talented and should win American Idol Vote Adam!
