Adam Lambert Inspired by Listening to Lady Gaga and Madonna
Advice Given to Adam Lambert from Madonna and Lady Gaga
Adam Lambert was talking from down under to the Sydney Daily Telegraph and said, "(Gaga) told me about the previous three years. She worked really, really hard before she made it. She told me there's no glamour, you don't get a lot of sleep, you don't get a lot of stability in your social life - you just have to count on yourself and go for it. It was a good pep talk. And she was right."
Adam Lambert has certainly been working hard as he has taken his Glam Nation tour international. Adam Lambert has done 74 shows in the United States since June 4th, 2010 and has now started the Glam Nation tour in Asia in Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and the Philippines. After that Adam Lambert will tour in Australia and all over Europe.
As Adam Lambert has climbed the music charts he has also gotten advise from Madonna on how to handle the inevitable criticism from the media. Madonna told Adam Lambert, "...you can't get wrapped up in all the media and message boards, that everyone's going to have an opinion. People will criticize you especially when you're doing it well."
Adam Lambert recently got into a scuffle with a paparazzi as he was trying to relax on the beach with a friend. Adam has since come back and said about that, ""Battery? Nope. I attempted to grab a camera, no punches were thrown and no one was on the ground.... It was literally harmless. If embarrassment is a crime - that's all I'm guilty of."
Adam Lambert went on to say later, "There are times one has to put on their blinders, ignore, and think positively, but there are other times when it's important to stand up for yourself." So it seems that Adam Lambert is listening to the advice, picking his battles wisely and acting with caution as he continues through his career.

Post a CommentI love his voice and talent. Lifestyle? Ummm no, too wacky for me! I am checking in with all my friends before I leave again for 4 days! Between hospital runs south to visit my father in law and my travel plans I have been away far too much. My iPod Touch doesn't allow me to post comments but I can read...and with long hours in the hospital (thank goodness for free Wifi) reading AC articles and lovely poetry keeps me sane!!
At first scan, I thought you were writing about AC's own Adam Michael Lambert. But, I realized after the second paragraph it was not our own AC contributor.
