Adam Lambert or Kris Allen, Who Will Win American Idol?

Adam Lambert has been an odds-on favorite from the beginning of American Idol this year. Adam Lambert's flamboyant, unique interpretations of his song selections have shown an incredible talent lurking in Adam Lambert. He has a stage presence that is unequaled this year on American Idol. Adam Lambert has delivered week after week with amazing performances that have kept the web buzzing the whole time.
Meanwhile Kris Allen has been a long shot. Kris Allen's more tepid performances have left most of his performances almost being forgettable to the American Idol audience. Kris Allen's song selections have not always been the best. But even I have to admit that Kris Allen did an incredible job with Kanye West's "Heartless" last week and that is why he is in the American Idol finals.
This is not to say that Kris Allen isn't talented, he is, but he is not in the same American Idol league as Adam Lambert. Online newspaper polls show that Adam Lambert remains the favorite to win American Idol by 60% to 40% for Kris Allen.
The web comments show that the American Idol fans are very vocal when it comes to Adam Lambert. At Ready2Beat.com the following comment is very typical: "I absolutely love Adam. Ladies too bad that he could be gay! He (Adam Lambert) sings so awesome and is a great performer. So what if he is gay? The show (American Idol) is not about sexual preference it's a singing competition."
Adam Lambert deserves to win this year's American Idol. Each week on American Idol Adam Lambert has delivered a new and unique performance that has showcased just how talented he is. Whether it is the gentle crooning of "Mad World" done sitting in a single chair on the American Idol stage, or the flamboyant all-out "Born to Be Wild"; Adam Lambert has dazzled us.

All of this adds up to Adam Lambert being this year's American Idol." I still stand by those words and look forward to watching Adam Lambert as the next American Idol.

I hope that this article is correct, since so many Danny fans have transferred to Kris it seems unlikely. Good luck to Adam, and even if you don't win, you will ALWAYS be our champion!!!!!!!!
I predict there is a good chance of Kris winning. Not because he's the better singer, but his fan base of 6 to 14 year old girls is more persistent and they can easily vote the entire 4 hours next week. Kris appeals somewhat more to that age group than Adam would and they don't necessarily have great listening skills. They mostly vote on Kris because he's "hot". I hope I'm wrong.. .
There's not more hate and vitriol spewed other than towards Adam. And it's more of Adam's fans who are thrilled that it's Kris with him in the finals because like Adam,it's Kris who exhibits the same humility, respectfulness and right attitude towards others.
We saw progress and growth in Kris coasting along all season.
While ADAM has to compete with himself week after week because he's been giving his all and his best with those amazing talents of his every week. But his every performance is not less. When someone else gives a better performance from before, then it shines.
But ADAM is the whole package, the consumate entertainer and a total performer.
ADAM's big difference from the rest is he thrills, he excites and he electrifies. When he slows down, he seduces, he mesmerizes the audience.
With ADAM, there's nothing more you could ask for. The only thing I want to ask him: "ADAM, where have you been? We've been waiting soo long. Elvis has long been gone!"
ADAM is the deserving
Adam deserves to win Idol because he is an exceptional singer with an unbelievable vocal range-plus he is an entertainer. I look forward to seeing him every week and isn't that what we want in an Idol winner-I felt the same last year about David Cook
Adam is AMAZING@! He is so talented and has entertained us all season. He has earned the Idol crown. Vote Adam@! I am also proud of Adam because I work for the VA and while Adam was home he went to Miramar to sing for the troops and their families. He also visited the kids at his high school drama and signing departments and went back to the performing arts center where he started performing. He is truly the most talented and should win American Idol Vote Adam!
