Adam Lambert Opinions Fly This Week

Adam Lambert Has a Week Full of Voicing His Opinions

Mary Zeiher
Adam Lambert has spent the last week in the news and it has ranged from opinions on Susan Boyle, male figure skating and who the next American Idol will be. So while our talented Adam Lambert is making amazing music and lots of appearances, Adam Lambert is also busy opinionating on lots of other cultural things that are going on.

The latest opinion that Adam Lambert has voiced is around figure skater Johnny Weir. Johnny Weir has been a very ostentatious in his Olympic performances and it has been said that he is setting a bad example for other professional skaters, Adam Lambert came to his defense. Adam Lambert said to Access Hollywood, "I'm glad he's a trailblazer. He's comfortable in his own skin, clearly. And he's expressing himself. I think that's what art's all about."

Adam Lambert certainly knows what its like to be called flamboyant and ostentatious after the backlash over his cutting-edge performance at the American Music Awards last November. Adam Lambert has never apologized for that performance and he stands by it, even though he realizes that not all people appreciated the artistic value or message.

There has also been stories this week that Adam Lambert supposedly trashed Susan Boyle. In an interview with Gay Times magazine Adam Lambert said, ""I'm happy for her success, but that album is terrible. 'Wild Horses' is the one that made me laugh the hardest. I just died when I heard it, I was crying with laughter. It was the most horrendous, sacrilegious treatment of that song!"

Adam Lambert was answering in the context of humor when he was asked about the fact that his debut album sold 200,000 copies in its first week and that he was outsold by Boyle. Adam Lambert said it with laughter and we know he doesn't take himself too seriously. Adam went on to say, "Still, when my album charted, it was validating. I was feeling

And now Adam Lambert has tweeted about who his fave contestant is for this new season of American Idol, Todrick Hall. "[Todrick is] def gonna surprise us!! Mad talent!! Def the full package." Adam also had good things to say about Casey James and Andrew Garcia as well. "Casey is def the real deal. Authentic. Andrew Garcia's too."
It will be interesting now to watch American Idol and see if any of Adam Lambert's early favorites will be true. I think the talent rests with Lee Dewyze and that he is the next American Idol.

But in the end the ultimate performer found by American Idol to date is Adam Lambert!

Dear Backlash: You are certainly entitled to you opinion and I accept that fully. When I put together the information in this article, I did check multiple sources, three of which are posted in the article. I try very hard to validate the information at multiple sites. I found Adam's quotes to be the same at all sites. Now, of course it caould have been quoted incorrectly, that can always happen. But I do check, and double check before posting.

Thank you to all for reading,

    Mary

Just because somebody prints an article about Adam Lambert it does not mean it is true. The comments about Susan Boyle were nothing he had said recently, and he was misquoted just like he is every time. You people writing these articles about Adam need to either be correct, or shut the hell up. Mary Zeiher you need to check your facts next time. Just because somebody wrote that he said something about Susan
Boyle's CD does not mean he said anything about her this week. I have never found one blogg about Adam yet that was correct. It is funny everyone seems to think it is OK for them to give an opinion about Adam Lambert, but it is not OK for him to give any opinions. Bullcrap!!!

"trailblazer".. hmmm. It's nice to be a trailblazer, when you are smart enough to pick a solid direction. Adam, unfortunately, doesn't fall into that catagory....

I say Adam has every right to dislike Susan Boyle's version of any song - just like Clay Aiken had every right to dislike Adam Lambert's version of 'Ring of Fire'.

    Where is your apology Adam?

What a waste of print, recording time, energy, time ... everthing Lambert is. He has a huge confidence problem or else he wouldn't act like such a jealous little baby. He must realize he doen't have talent so he has to get attention any way he can ... I think we all appreciate it when someone is discovered who has so much natural talent that she sells 8 million in less than four months. He is so jealous and ocdia keeps trying to make us think we actually care about this nobody.

Adam never said an unkind word about Susan. He has every right to dislike her music, the same as you have a right to dislike him. So, if it is wrong to say mean things about others, as you acuse him of doing, why is it alright for you to say such ugly things about him?? Is there a double standard here??

I did not like what Susan Boyle did to Wild Horses either. Of course the Rolling Stones would say they liked her version. They wrote the song and are making tons of money off of it.

Why the hell is it, that whenever Lambert tweets, I see around twenty news articles over it. Or most any celebrity for that matter, old media, for crying out loud.

    Hello 'Mary',
We all read these articles too. It is stale old news. Here is something worth discussing: Adam lambert's gig tonight is 'sold out'- and- it was all 'word of mouth' fans telling fans- there were no ads placed and Adam did not tweet it. Two weeks after the tickets went on sale, there was a small article put in the local paper by Fantasy Springs Resort about how amazed they were at the response;they wrote that people were attending from acoss USA, Canada, even coming from Japan. There was no need for an advertisement !! The venue seats several thousands, and therefore you can see Adam's popularity when his gig gets sold out just by word of mouth and fans sharing info. And btw, there were only 1500 complaints out of the 7,000,000 viewers of AMA awards. And, as the ladies of The View said; it was laughbable all the hoopla over his performance. Adult 'content' is permitted between 10pm-6am and Adam's performance was at 10:53pm & it would have been OK except some Central Time Zone

the rag in the u.k. that posted those "quotes" from adam isn't even online, nor will we ever hear the "tape" they claim to have. the u.k is well known for printing whatever they want, i.e. the story that jolie and pitt had visited a lawyer to arrange their separation (they luckily have enough money and influence to sue the printer of that article). i say, bad journalism to just keep picking up and printing things without first checking at least with the quoted party.
