American Idol Runner-Up Adam Lambert Will Play Mandalay Bay
The Mandalay Bay Beach has an elevated stage above a beach area where concert attendees enjoy music as they lay on their towels at the beach or wade in the cool water. The stage sticks out into the water, so that you can be in the water while watching the concert - although you need to be a little bit back from the stage in order to see who's on stage. And, yes, it's outdoors.
Will it be hot in Las Vegas in late July? Yes, expect over 100 degree temperatures. But you can stay cool by going in and out of the water, no problem. Besides, aren't you used to getting hot at an Adam Lambert concert? Alternatively, you could even book a room overlooking the beach and watch the concert from the comfort of your balcony.
The 11-acre beach area has a wave pool, lazy river, and three swimming pools. During the summer the beach area hosts the Beach Concert Series, during which Adam Lambert will appear on July 31. In the beach area there is seating, 100 rentable cabanas, and an upscale European-style Beach Club that caters to the 21 and over set.

LOVE Mandalay!!! If you don't mind dropping a few $$$ you should try dining at the Fleur De Lis... ask for Theo and tell him Lou (the brooklyn born italian cowboy) and his wife Tammie sent you... one of the best meals on the strip. Took my son last xmas and they whipped up a tasting menu for me with paired wines that was HANDS DOWN the best meal of my life
