According to Adam Lambert, his new and first single from his upcoming album, "For Your Entertainment," might be released next week. At least that is what Adam Lambert tweeted to all his followers Sunday while hanging out at a Florida resort. He was down in Boca Raton over the weekend for a private Halloween gig Saturday night. But while there at the resort, Adam Lambert found some time for his fans on Twitter.

"The single SHOULD be out next week," he tweeted.

According to mjsbigblog.com, the American Idol runner-up also acknowledged that "Take One," the album that "mysteriously" appeared on the internet at Amazon.com for pre-order, was indeed his "On With The Show" album. He said the Hi-Fi Records release had been re-tooled, just as many had guessed.

Adam Lambert tweeted, "Yeah this "take one" thing is basically "on with the show" re-tooled. Now this is ALL material recorded in '05 not written by me."

He also tweeted a reminder that his album would debut on November 23.

Things are gearing up for the American Idol alum as the movie "2012" nears release. The video for "Time For Miracles," Lambert's contribution to the Roland Emmerich film, was released on MySpace on Wednesday, although it was available in Europe earlier. In the video, Adam Lambert strides through disaster scene after disaster scene ("2012" is about an cataclysmic shifting of the Earth's crust on a global scale that destroys many areas around the planet), the world falling apart around him, as he searches for his lost love.

It is unclear if "Time For Miracles" will appear on Adam Lambert's upcoming album. According to MTV News, Lambert and his record label have acknowledged that the power ballad is not thematically compatible with other songs on "For Your Entertainment."

On October 28, Adam Lambert fans can see the "Time For Miracles" video in an extended trailer for "2012" that will run before "This Is It," the movie that chronicles the preparations for Michael Jackson's "This Is It" Tour.

Although there was speculation that Adam Lambert's album would be released on the same day as American Idol winner Kris Allen's debut album, that is now known to not be the case. Kris Allen's self-titled first album will be released on November 17, a week ahead of Lambert's. It will contain 13 songs (14 on the WalMart exclusive CD).

Many still believe that Adam Lambert should have been the Season 8 victor on American Idol. In a month, the top two contestants will compete again, but this time in the marketplace. And the market will decided...

Why do you keep making it a competion between these two good friends. Really they are different artist and Adam is a powerful singer on a different level. Stop! Can't wait for Adam's single and CD though!!

Where are you getting your information from. It has never been speculated that their albums would be released at the same time Kris's album has always been set to come out before Adams. And Adam has constantly said on video that TFM will NOT be on his album.

Please please please take the "runnnerup" tag from behind Adam's name in future articles. His star shines the brightest now and he has proven he should have won. Adam's musical talent and brilliance are second to none. Thanks!
