A Fan Picks Adam Lambert Hits from American Idol, His Hit Album, and His First Concert

Adam Lambert's meteoric rise on the charts since the 2009 American Idol Season 8 season has been nothing but spectacular. During American Idol Adam Lambert accumulated an extensive following of dedicated fans - a fan base that was quite obvious during the American Idol tour during the summer of 2009. Amid the screams and shouts from the audience, Mr. Lambert's songs during that tour would become some of his fans' all-time favorites.

In November of 2009, Adam Lambert released his first album, "For Your Entertainment". Even before its release - in fact, even before the album had an official name - the presales of Adam Lambert's first album topped the charts. Mr. Lambert's fans expected him to push the creative envelope and produce a stellar album. They were not disappointed. From this album, fans gravitated toward more favorites from their pick of Adam Lambert's songs.

On February 27, 2010, Adam Lambert held his first solo concert at the Fantasy Springs Resort & Casino in Indio, California. This sold-out concert drew 3500 fans from as far away as Denmark, Australia, and Thailand to the Mojave Desert just to hear Adam Lambert's songs. At the concert fans would discover more even favorites among Adam Lambert's songs.

Before the concert, Fantasy Springs hosted a "Glamily" (Adam Lambert's fans are known as Glamberts) Family Reunion during which 600 devoted Adam Lambert fans ate, danced, and sang Adam Lambert songs for two hours prior to the concert itself. The atmosphere during the Glamily Reunion was a peak experience for Mr. Lambert's fans. Simply being among others who were dedicated Adam Lambert fans - others who knew the lyrics of Adam Lambert songs - was, for the fans, the ultimate confirmation that they were far from being alone in their admiration of Adam Lambert.

Out of these experiences, certain Adam Lambert songs have come to the forefront. These are songs that have made the top of the charts, been developed into videos, and noticeably are favorites of Adam Lambert's fans.

The following is a list of top ten favorite Adam Lambert songs, drawn from rankings on the charts, his appearances on American Idol, the American Idol Season 8 tour, Adam Lambert's "For Your Entertainment" album, and the experience of attending Mr. Lambert's first concert at Fantasy Springs in Indio, California:

2. "For Your Entertainment" - Written by Claude Kelly / Dr. Luke and produced by Dr. Luke. See official video.

The American Idol tour version of "Whole Lotta Love" ties for this spot.

4. "Mad World" - This performance by Adam Lambert of a "Tears for Fears" song on American Idol received a standing ovation from Simon Cowell. See video of the studio version from American Idol Season 8. This might be ranked even higher by some fans - an all-time favorite of Adam Lambert fans.

Adam will probably appear on Idol on either April 13, 14, 20 or 21. April 14 coincides with the release of his new remix EP (with new single "Voodoo"), while April 21 is the "Idol Gives Back" episode. So who knows. Usually http://www.adamofficial.com/us/home/ has the latest news on Adam.

Please, please, please someone out there who has any kind of American Idol connection...bring Adam back to sing. This year's AI is absolutely pathetic. I only watch this season to see if Adam will be back as a guest performer. Anyone know IF and/or WHEN he is going to sing this season???

can't quite figure those who say they like his voice but they are not fond of him???? If you take the time and listen to his many many interviews, his friends from Idol last year...his charity work...you will discover what a wonderful sweet person he is...I am wondering if you are basing your comments on the fact that he is gay and it freaks you out a bit...or on his sexy AMA performance...What are you basing your comment on...That he is a performer who dares to be himself and on not what you want him to be? Please...being true to oneself is number one...if you can not love yourself...there is not way you can love anyone else.
