Adam Lambert Tops Idol Airplay Chart Following American Idol Performance

Adam Lambert Talks About Idol's and His Performance

Adam Lambert is sitting pretty atop the American Idol airplay chart this week. This follows the week where Adam Lambert both mentored and performed on American Idol. It was great for everyone to have Adam Lambert back on American Idol because the contestants this year have just been mediocre and Idol lacks the pizzazz it had last year with Adam Lambert.

Mediabase has reported that Adam Lambert's "Whataya Want From Me" is topping the Idol airplay chart and is number fourteen on the Top 40 charts. The smooth ballad from Lambert has been amazingly popular since it's release from the album "For Your Entertainment".

This follows the week where Adam Lambert returned to American Idol and spent a day as a mentor giving advice to the current contestants to step up their game, to show more energy on stage and to really reach for what they want. Adam had this to say about being back on American Idol, "It was incredible. It was nice to see familiar faces. I had a great time with my performance. I got to put on a light show and wear a really cute outfit."

Adam Lambert put on an amazing performance on the Idol stage singing his hit "Whataya Want From Me". Fog machines, green lasers and a re-mixed version of the hit song all made for what Adam Lambert does best - put on a really good show.

But what did Adam Lambert think of the performances that he saw? Well there are four American Idol contestants that Adam thinks have real talent: Crystal Bowersox (no surprise there), Lee DeWyze, Casey James and Michael Lynch.

My pick for this year's American Idol has been Lee DeWyze since February. I am so glad to see that Lee is on Adam's short list to win this year. Of course you never know with ABC, they couldn't let Adam Lambert win last year, which many Lambert fans still speculate that that the voting might have not been reported exactly right.

It is obvious that Idol and Simon Cowell have a preference for Crystal. But she seems to be a one-show type of singer. She can pull a pretty good Bonnie Raitt, but is there anything else to Crystal? Can she break out of that? Audiences haven't seen any other side to Crystal this season.

Meanwhile Lee DeWyze keeps stepping up his performances week after week and going to different styles and showing different aspects of his talent and personality. I believe that he will continue to do this through the final weeks of Idol.

Unlike Adam Lambert, Lee DeWyze will be the next American Idol. Like Adam Lambert, Lee will also be a very successful artist.

Adam Lambert really spoiled American Idol last year and the contestants this year is nowhere near that type of talent and American Idol knows it is a fact. Kris Allen is good, but he does not have the performance skills of Adam Lambert. Last year, America got it wrong and chose another Taylor Hicks.

What did ABC have to do with it? American Idol is on FOX!

Now why would anyone take you seriously when you make stupid statements like this?:
