Adam Lambert Tour Dates - San Diego Concert Now Scheduled (Updated 7-12-10)

Finally, it's here! All Glamberts rejoice! Adam Lambert is going on tour this summer and has announced the dates for his first-ever summer tour.

Adam Lambert has given a few concerts before this, but until now hasn't actually gone on an organized tour. If past history is any indicator, these concerts will sell out fast, so get your tickets early.

If you register at Ticketmaster and also register at Adam Lambert's official fan club, you can get in on presales before the tickets are available to the general public. His fan club will send you a presale code to use when you buy concert tickets through Ticketmaster.

Adam Lambert will be touring with his opening act, Orianthi, who put out the song "According to You" in 2009 on her album "Believe". Orianthi is a great singer in her own right, so plan on actually enjoying the opening act.

What to Expect

I attended Adam's first-ever solo concert at Fantasy Springs in Indio, California in February of this year, and believe me, it was mind-blowing. Just watching the people who showed up for his concert was fun. Adam has some serious fans who put some effort into having a fun glitter-filled, glammed-up time. Adam sang a variety of songs off his first album, "For Your Entertainment", plus a number of other songs.

What Adam Lambert did to "Whole Lotta Love" at Fantasy Springs was insane, something I had never heard before and is now at the top of my list of favorite Adam Lambert songs. He slowly sang an acoustic version of the song and turned it into one of the -- no, the -- most sensual song I have ever heard. I hope he repeats this performance on tour.

Regardless, Adam Lambert is so creative and has such an amazing voice, I am confident his concerts will rate a high "mind-blowing" ranking. It will be interesting to me also to see how much the trappings and presentation of his concert will evolve from his first solo concert at Fantasy Springs.
