Adam Lambert Wants to Be Gossip Girl Blair's Shopping Buddy

Adam Lambert is thinking about television as we head into the 2010 year. To be more specific Adam Lambert is thinking that it might be fun to be Blair's shopping buddy if he could land a spot on The CW's Gossip Girl.

Actually this all started on Twitter. There was a rumor heading around the Internet that Adam Lambert was going to have a guest spot on the new hit show Glee. Adam Lambert took to his Twitter account to let all of his loyal followers know that these rumors were - unfortunately - not true.

Gossip Girls, Bair Waldorf is a Manhattan "it girl" with an attitude and an incredible wardrobe. Blair seems to 'own' the Upper East Side and because of her status she is constantly watched and judged by Gossip Girl. Secretly when it comes to her status, Blair is a bit insecure and she's jealous of her supposed friend Serena.

Gossip Girls started on The CW in 2007 and has won numerous Teen Choice Awards and even a 2008 People's Choice Award for Favorite New TV Drama. This is a hit show on The CW and Adam Lambert in a guest role would be a great addition to the cast. I can see him helping Blair shop right now!

Adam Lambert also let us into his wish list of what other shows that he might want to be a part of her in 2010. "If I had to pick a show to guest star on I'd loooooooove to be on True Blood. Or Weeds. Those shows are amazing. Prob need some major acting classes though first."

True Blood, for anyone that doesn't already know, is a show on HBO at started in September 2008 and is based on the Charlaine Harris books The Southern Vampire Mysteries. It follows the people and vampires of a small southern town named Bon Temps and the relationship between a telepathic waitress Sookie Stackhouse and handsome southern vampire Bill Compton.

True Blood also managed to snag some major awards recently during the People Choice awards. True Blood was selected as favorite TV obsession and favorite TV drama. So Adam Lambert has good taste when it comes to selecting vampire shows to guest star in.

Weeds, hit the TV airwaves in 2005 on Showtime. Weeds revolves around Nancy Botwin, a California widow in a prestigious neighborhood. Nancy was a epitome of the perfect cookie-baking, PTA soccer mom. But then her husband dies and Nancy ends up having to be her neighbor's marijuana dealer to be able to pay the mortgage and maintain her suburban lifestyle.

Weeds gets more and more interesting as Nancy learns just what it takes to stay in the drug dealing world that she has entered. Weeds has been nominated for multiple awards and has won a Golden Globe and numerous Satellite Awards. Again we see that Adam Lambert has excellent tastes in the TV that he wants to be a part of.
