Remember in Hollywood Week when he sang Cher's "Believe"? When I heard what he was going to sing, I immediately thought "Oh, we are done with Adam Lambert. No one can do that song well. Cher doesn't even do that song well." But again he out-shone the competition.

Then came "I Can't Get No Satisfaction" and that Adam Lambert swagger and that rock star quality that just popped on stage and Adam Lambert was on his way to American Idol fame.

Michael Jackson week was next on Idol and Adam Lambert came into his own in an amazing performance of "Black and White". This was the week that Paula Abdul predicted that Adam Lambert would go on to be in the American Idol finals. She was right!

Next came the only questionable performance, at least for me, of Adam's domination on American Idol, his version of "Ring of Fire". Simon Cowell called it "indulgent rubbish" that night. The other three judges thought he did fine. He certainly did well enough to go on in American Idol.

On Motown night Adam Lambert received a standing ovation from Smokey Robinson when Adam slowed things down and graced us with "The Tracks of My Tears." Full of emotion and each note beautifully done, Adam sauntered through to the next round.

Then came my favorite Adam Lambert performance on American Idol, "Mad World". Just Adam on the stage in a single chair, with blue lights and that incredible voice pulling us into Adam Lambert's world for those few minutes. He received an extremely rare standing ovation from Simon Cowell for that performance.

Adam Lambert seemed to have a great time rocking out to Steppenwolf's "Born To Be Wild", and I had just as much fun watching him do it. This was Adam Lambert the rock star brining it with everything that he had that night. Judges loved it, America loved it and Adam was on to the next round.

Adam's rendition of "If I Can't Have You" brought the comment from American Idol judge DioGuardi that Adam Lambert has his "most memorable performance" and Paula Abdul had tears as she intensely listened to Adam Lambert's singing.
