There is so much joy when you come to realize that so many people are coming to visit your blog. May bloggers are now using all means possible to find out how many visitors come to their sites. Indeed, some software's are able to show you both the number of people who visited your blog as well as their country of origin. Such information has proved very important to the improvement of a bloggers incentives and energies.

The simplest way you could get these tools is through Google Analytics. This is a tool that helps you know how people came to know about your blog and where they come from and also for how long they have been reading your blog. This is very encouraging to a blogger.

The first step to get Google analytics is to have a blog with Blogger.com and Google Analytics (google.com/analytics/). After you get an account with both, go to Analytics and click on Add Website Profile. Enter your blog URL then click Finish. You'll get a html code that you'll place on your blog page. This html code is what Google will use to track your visitors. If you are not conversant with placing codes, all you need to do is highlight the code, right click on the highlighted code then click Copy.

Click the tab that indicates 'dashboard' click on the blog you wish to add the code. Click on the layout, choose layout then click 'edit HTML. You'll see all the html code that makes your blog. Scroll down to the tag and place your analytics code directly above end of the tag by right clinking on the space and clicking 'paste'. Save and view your blog in a new window so as o see whether you did it right. After sometime, if you did it correctly, Google will pick and start serving you after approximately an hour at most.

The tool will be very beneficial. You'll be able to know what to invest n through your blog by knowing what people like about your blog.
