Add This to Your New Season Beauty Hotlist - the Hair Manicure!

If you are anything like me, you will always want to know what's hot and what's not when it comes to anything related to fashion, cosmetics and style. So, always wanting to be the first to try something, I just had to check out a "hair manicure"! Most people would say "what the heck is that?!" but let me tell you, it is the most amazing pampering treatment you could ever have for your hair. It was created by L'Oreal to give your hair the ultimate finish and is the hottest thing for 2008!

When I went to the salon, I felt like my hair needed a real boost to bring the colour and brightness back, so when my stylist recommended it, I had to try it! When I left the salon, my hair looked like it had just been coloured, but no colouring had been done! It did take a little while, but the results were amazing! Using a combination of conditioning products, massages and blow-drying, I was left with hair so silky and glossy I looked like I had just stepped out of a hair advert! Best of all, it only cost $80, which is much cheaper than having highlights! It is especially good if you have thick, frizz-prone or wavy hair and are looking to tame it and bring back the gloss and brightness.

To maintain my gorgeous glossy new hair, I have stocked up on a set of Kiehl's amazing Rice & Wheat shampoo and conditioning rinse. After reading about them in a magazine, I just had to track some down. What an amazing result! To be honest, I was reluctant to wash my hair after my "hair manicure" - I didn't want to wash out the glossiness! However, I needn't have worried, as my hair remained just as glossy as it did when I stepped out the salon (although my blow-drying skills don't exactly match my stylist yet!) Also, I did cheat a bit and use my hot-pink GHD's too (what a miracle invention they are!), but hey, who's to know!

So, if you are looking for the ultimate pampering treat - whether you have a big night out planned, a hot date, a special look for your wedding day or if you are so fed-up with having unmanageable hair day in day out - then this is for you. Also, I would hurry down to your nearest Kiehl's counter and stock up on their hair products before I buy everything they have!
