Add Some Death Quacks to Your Halloween with "Zombie Rubber Duckies"

Miss Fortune

Every year I look forward to getting a couple of strange gifts for friends; one collects 'road kill' items (yes, there are tons of them out there) and another has a passion for rubber ducks. When I saw the Zombie Rubber Ducks I knew that I had to order a couple of sets of them. Not only would they make the perfect gift but I wanted a set to use for decoration. I have a handful of other spooky and Halloween themed ducks so these little guys and girl will be in good company.

The most prominent duck in the bunch is the Dead Duck; with a typical rubber duck body and blank stare he is the perfect leader of the undead. The second most unique is the autopsy duck with a "Y" shaped dissection line along the front of the body. The other two ducks are iffy at best; they have more of a punk look to them than a zombie look but they are still a nice addition to any collector set. This set doesn't glow in the dark but there is an alternative version of the Zombie Ducks that do glow; they cost a little more but are a nice thing to have as a decoration or for a Halloween party as a giveaway gift.

You can get this assortment at online stores like Century Novelty and Oriental Trading Company but there are retail stores that also carry them. You can get the set for about five dollars which isn't bad considering that they are a seasonal item. There are companion sets of Skeleton Ducks, Vampire Ducks, Undead Ducks and glow in the dark versions of all four sets including the Zombie Ducks. The version I purchased do not have squeakers in them so if you are looking for something that makes noise then you are going to have to look elsewhere.
