Add White for Spring Decorating

With spring just around the corner, we are getting in the mood to do out spring cleaning and give out rooms a fresh new look. The budget doesn't always allow us to make huge changes, especially this year, most everyone is feeling the pinch. Here are some on how to add white pieces to your rooms to brighten up any room for the spring season.

SPLASH OF WHITE:

All you need is a splash of white here and there to really bring a spring feel to the rooms of your home. Paint an old piece of furniture white or add a new white throw run in front of the couch. These "adding white" techniques especially look nice if you have colored walls, it helps the white pop out in the room.

You could even add a white sofa or couch if you are feeling really brave. A white sofa with some brightly colored pillows in lime green, pinks, or purples would bring in the feeling of spring to your rooms. Don't forget to simply change the wintery looking pictures on your walls to some filled with fresh spring flowers or spring scenes.

CONSIDER CHANGE:

If you want to totally give a room a new look, paint is always a cheaper option than totally remodeling a room. Paint can give a room a whole new look and can be applied to most any thing, pieces of furniture, walls, cabinets, and the list goes on.

So consider what you may be able to paint this spring to change the look of a room to look happier and more spring like. You may paint a wall a brighter color and add some white trim to make the color really stand out, this look is very fresh and the white makes the color pop.
