Addicted to Associated Content

I become more addicted to writing for Associated Content (AC) after each poem or article I write and publish. Writing for AC keeps my mind occupied thinking about what topic I will write about next. As I mention on my Content Producer (CP) page, I just began writing four months ago, and have been with AC for about two of those months. Before becoming a member of AC I searched for, and registered with several sites trying to get paid for publishing my poetry. Unfortunately, I wasn't pleased with those sites for one reason or the other. I discovered AC from one of those sites and have been writing for them ever since. I also invited another writer from one of those sites to join AC and she did.

I find writing an interesting, creative and passionate talent. There are times when you have so many topics you don't know where to begin, and other times when you just have to wait for a topic to come to you. With me topics usually come late at night, followed by a brainstorming session for two to three hours. When topics come to me, like most of you I'm sure, I have to brainstorm right then while the ideas are still fresh in my mind. When I finally lay my head down, the thought of getting up for work in three hours is another story. However, knowing I've written and published content on AC makes the thought of getting through tomorrow a little easier to deal with.

I'm enjoying and having fun writing for AC, as well as reading articles written by other Content Producers (CPs). I find the numerous topics on AC very interesting and informative. I learn something new from each article I read. I also appreciate and want to thank all CPs and AC readers for taking time to read my writing and leaving positive feedback. So far, I have not received any negative feedback--hopefully I won't. This is very inspirational and an affirmation for me to continue writing.

I did receive a piece of unsolicited advice in one of the forums, advising me not to post poetry on AC. I was advised of the low page views I would receive for poems, which might hurt financially in the long run, and to seek out sites specializing in poetry. At first, I wasn't sure how to take this comment--negatively or positively. After thinking about it, I took the advice positively and made it work for me. Instead of leaving AC and searching for another poetry site, I decided to take my writing skill to another level and try my hand at writing articles. The advice paid off for me and I see there is more of an increase in page views for my articles than there is for my poetry. Being new to AC, I'm still learning how to use all the resources available on this site, how to know what the popular topics are, improving my writing skills and how to increase my earnings.

I've connected with a few other CPs and looking forward to connecting with more of them. I would like to thank Opher for that unsolicited advice which encouraged me to explore another style of writing. I want to give a special thanks to Amy for the very informative articles she writes which help me a great deal being new to AC, as well as answering any questions I have. Thanks also to Sarah, Sophie and Aly who have taken the time to read most of my writing and leaving their encouraging comments and positive feedback.

Most of all, I thank AC for providing this platform. AC enables writers around the world like myself to express ourselves, and get paid for what we enjoy doing and have a passion for--writing. I'm thrilled, I received my first performance bonus for $3.00 this week. Not bad for an amateur, huh? God Is Good! My journey is in motion.
