It is natural for men to want to see nude pictures of woman. Men are much more visual than woman and simply seeing a nude picture sparks arousal. This arousal is as or more important than actual release. With each new picture the person addicted to porn wants to see just one more. They could spend hours of the day in pursuit of just one more picture.
Reasons Why Porn Addiction is Damaging:
Self-Esteem: We have learned from religious and moral teachings in childhood that porn is damaging to our soul. As adults we may be addicted to porn and this creates a moral dilemma within us. This moral dilemma continues to eat away our positive concepts of ourselves and leaves us feeling weak.
Marriages: It isn't likely that your spouse will appreciate you holding up for hours in the computer room looking at porn. If you think they won't find out look again. To many women looking at porn is like cheating on them. It means that they don't fulfill and complete you as a person. It is possible this resentment and shame will break up your marriage.
Lost Time: You could have gone for a jog, watched a movie or completed some project. Instead you spent many hours looking at nude pictures on the Internet. Chances are that you are wasting ungodly amounts of time hiding away and limiting your true ability to be happy in life.
Poor Sex-Life: Research indicates that after immediately looking at pictures of beautiful woman you won't find other woman as attractive. The natural feelings of attractiveness you might feel towards another are reduced. Likewise, constant masturbation may reduce the urge to have sex with your partner.
Escalations in Addiction: You might think that your addiction is confined to pictures only. However, there is a good possibility that you may want to act out on these feelings at some time in the future. The next time a woman hits on you, a prostitute solicits you or an escort advertisement appears you will be one step closer to taking action that could damage you.

Post a CommentI can well relate to all the effects of porn mentioned here. It was one of those days when I got introduced to this world of internet porn and have been struggling ever since. Recently while I was browsing the web I found out that its not just me there are hundreds of people around the globe who think that porn has affected them and they need to quit. I was struggling with my resolve till a few months ago when I decided I've had enough and started working on my addiction seriously and believe me I have stayed without porn for more than 3 months now its a great feeling. To all the porn addicts who are looking for some help I would suggest a site http://www.throughtheflame.org. I found this site pretty helpful as you can speak to other porn addicts and figure a way out of this together.
