Todays Nation Poetry Month challenge was to write an "addition poem". As I had no idea what form an addition poem was I had to do some researching on the Internet. I found very little help and decided to search within Associated Content. I am very glad I did and I wish to thank my fellow content sources for the wonderful poems I have had the pleasure to read while learning about the addition form of poetry.
Here I offer two samples with similar content. In the first I have increased each line of the poem by one word.
Love's Creation - An Addition Poem
You
And I
Are loves creation,
Our hearts pounding heavier
As we are becoming one.
Here the poem is written by adding one letter to each line.
Universal Love - An Addition Poem
I
We
Are
Love
Heart
Pounds
Heavier
Becoming
Universal.
