Adidas Basketball Shoes

About a decade ago, somehow the retro look in athletics made a huge comeback. The looks of the 1970's and 1980's made a sudden reemergence into sports fashion, and as of right now, it looks like it is here to stay. Perhaps no other sports apparel brand has embraced this look more than Adidas. While they have long been the number 2 company behind sports behemoth Nike, they appear to be leading the charge in old school looks. Today, I will give you a few tips on where you can purchase these shoes from the German based sports retailer.

The Adidas Top Ten brand is by far their most popular old school look. The high tops and low tops of yesteryear are very fashionable with this updated brand. While they do offer these old school shoes with a fairly new school look, they also offer the original styles from the later 70's and early 80's. For the widest of selections, check out the official website of Adidas. One of the biggest benefits of these shoes is their price. Most athletic shoes from Nike will push the $100 mark or even beyond. While some styles of Adidas do run in the triple digits, there are many styles that cost as low as $65. Amazon, Overstock and eBay are great sites to visit for even deeper discounts.

Of course you can always buy discount Nike Shox online as well, but the Adidas brand has a better overall selection of old school looks. Visit your local sporting goods store as well, and check out their clearance section to see if a pair of returned Adidas basketball shoes end up their way in the bargain bin. It is a long shot, but it is certainly worth it if you can find a high quality pair of Adidas Top Ten basketball shoes. Good luck and happy hunting!
