While vacationing in Adirondack Park New York, there are many campgrounds to choose from. Knowing what campgrounds offer what amenities is useful when planning a vacation. Let's take a look at the campgrounds in Adirondack and what they have to offer campers.

Buck Pond, located at 1339 County Route 60, Onchiota NY 12989, charges an $18.00 per night camp fee. Buck Pond can accommodate campers of all walks including up to thirty foot RV's. Pitch a tent or camp in style; it can all be done here. Recreational activities include fishing, hiking, boating, canoeing and bicycling. Around the middle of May, Buck Pond opens for the season. The campgrounds remain open until Labor Day. You can register between 8:00am and 9:00pm daily. There is a picnic area available to camper's right next o the swimming beach. The only boats allowed in Buck Pond are electric motored and non-motored boats. Buck Pond offers 116 campsites to choose from. There are hot showers, flush toilets, trailer dump station, a recycle center, boat launch, boat rentals and a sandy beach with a bathhouse. For more information you can phone 518-891-1309.

Eagle Point, located at Pottersville, NY 12860, charges $20.00 for campsite rental. Up to 30 foot RV's can easily be accommodated. Eagle Point is opened to campers from the middle of May until Labor Day. You can register between the hours of 8:00am and 9:00pm daily. Here you will be able to choose from 72 campsites. Amenities include flush toilets, hot showers, a trailer dump station, boat launch, recycling center, fireplace, picnic table, charcoal grills, payphones and mobility impaired accessibility. Motor boats, row boats and canoes are all allowed at Eagle Point. There is no swimming beach available at Eagle Point.

Little Sand Point is located at Country Route 24, Old Piseco Road, Piseco NY, 12139 and charges $18.00 per night campsite rental. There are 78 campsites to choose from. Amenities include a sandy beach, boat launch, flush toilets, pay phone, trailer dump station and recycling center. The campgrounds open in the middle of May and stay open through Labor Day. Motor boats, row boats and canoes are all permissible. You can even rent a rowboat or canoe through the campgrounds. Little Sand Point is a great place for family camping!

Putnam Pond is located at 763 Putts Pond Road, Ticonderoga NY 12883 and campsites are $16.00 per night. Whether you choose to tent camp or luxury camp, as long as your RV is less than 30 foot, Putnam Pond can accommodate you. There are 72 campsites to choose from. Amenities include flush toilets, hot showers, mobility impaired accessible site, trailer dumping station, recycling center, boat launch, picnic are with pavilion rental and canoe and rowboat rental. Motor boats can be used on Putnam Pond. If you bring your own canoe, you will have to carry it at least half a mile in order to be able to use it. The campgrounds are opened from the middle of May through Labor Day. You can register from 8:00am to 9:00pm daily.
