Admission scholarship is applicable for the students who want to study a Master's or a PhD program. The scholarship amount depends on the university or the fund that the sponsor has declared to help the students. It has been observed that students are finding it difficult to cope with the high cost of acquiring higher education. When it comes to the Master's degree or the PhD program, they rely on outside funding most often. There are different sponsors and organizations that are ready to help these students but all of them have their own requirements.

If you are a student who is in need of any kind of financial help for the accomplishment of your academic dreams, you will have to go through the requirements and fulfill them. Only if you are able to meet the requirements, you will be able to apply and win the scholarship. If you want to take the advantage of any scholarship you should start enquiring about the scholarship one year prior to your need. This will help you collect all information and also help you apply for it successfully. Once you know the expectations of the panel you act accordingly satisfying them and increasing your chances of winning the scholarship money.

However, to win the admission scholarships, your name should be recommended by your academic unit and you should be securing 8.0/10 or more of your admission average. You should be registered as a full time student and for the entire 6 consecutive sessions. Furthermore, the Master's degree program for the professional academic units like Business Administration (MBA), Engineering (MEng), Education (MEd), Engineering Management (MEng), Conference Interpreting (MCI) and Health Administration (MHA) are excluded from the program.

If the student is planning to attain a PhD degree and fulfills the requirement of the scholarship program and attains 8.0 / 10 admission average, he is automatically chosen for the scholarship award. He will be paid $9,000 every year. This is the minimum amount for the students who win the admission scholarships and many organizations even give more than this. If you are interested student you should contact your academic unit for details.
