AdobeMax, the premier conference for all things Adobe is back. Last year we saw Martha Stewart show off her magazine, RIM show off their Playbook, and much more, so what's next? With one keynote being held at the same time as the Apple iPhone 5 announcement, could there be something big on the horizon, or just conincidence?
What many would like to see is Adobe's answer to the growing popularity of HTML 5, which analysts flip flop about which will win that battle. Further, we want to hear more about the move toward subscription models.
Lightroom just had an upgrade, but will the next version integrate Google+ as some photographers hope. Of course, four months ago that question was even a thought, but with the very influential photography group who have found their new mecca, it has to be asked.
The Adobe Acrobat had a huge upgrade last year, so is there more, or will it have to wait. And, of course, InDesign has grown in popularity due to the increasing popularity of ebooks, but will there be a lower priced or "lite" version for people who can't afford the current version?
AdobeMax is great for learning and seeing what is new on the horizon, but this year with all the changes and new outlets, there has to be something which makes people stand up and take notice of Adobe. Futher, that notice has to translate into new customers and not just window shoppers.
