Things you need to make a kissing spoon favor:
Disposable plastic spoon
Wedding netting (Use the color of your choice depending on your holiday theme)
Curling ribbon (Use the color of your choice depending on your holiday theme)
Two chocolate kisses
Scissors
Ruler
Hot glue gun
Steps to make a kissing spoon favor:
1. Cut a piece of wedding netting 8 inches square. If making multiple kissing spoon favors, fold the wedding netting in several layers and cut many squares at one time.
2. Place two chocolate kisses with their bottoms together in the bowl of a spoon. If desired, it may be helpful to glue the bottoms of the kisses together using the hot glue gun. This will not harm the chocolate, because the glue is only touching the wrapper.
3. Place the bowl of the spoon in the center of the 8 inch square of wedding netting. If you prefer a fuller flower-like look, you may want to use more than one 8 inch square of wedding netting.
4. Pull the corners of the 8 inch square of wedding netting down over the spoon. Gather the wedding netting below the bowl of the spoon.
5. Cut a piece of curling ribbon 15 inches long. Tie the ribbon in a knot below the bowl of the spoon. Curl the ribbon using the scissors.
If you would like to display your kissing spoon favors as part of your decorations, then you will want to arrange them in a flower pot as a bouquet.
Things you will need to make a kissing spoon favor bouquet:
Several kissing spoon favors
Clay flower pot
Green floral foam
Excelsior
Hot glue gun
Serrated knife
Acrylic paint
Paint brush
2 inch wide satin ribbon
Steps to make a kissing spoon favor bouquet:
1. Paint the flower pot using the acrylic paint. Completely paint the outside of the flower pot and at least an inch on the inside top of the flower pot. Allow the paint to dry.
2. Using a serrated knife, cut the green floral foam to fit inside the clay flower pot. Apply hot glue to the inside of the flower pot and insert the green floral foam. Cover the top of the green floral foam with the excelsior.
3. Insert the handles of the kissing spoon favors in a pleasing arrangement in the pot.
4. Tie the 2 inch wide satin ribbon in a bow around the base of the flower pot. Trim the ends.
