Adrianne Curry and Christopher Knight Split, Plus 2011's Other Big Celebrity Divorces

Hollywood odd-couple Christopher Knight and Adrianne Curry celebrated their fifth anniversary by going their separate ways, according to Hollyscoop. The former "Brady Bunch" kiddo, now 53, and the 28-year old winner of the inaugural cycle of "America's Next Top Model" who is perhaps best known in cyberspace for the steady diet of sexy self-portraits she posts to her Twitter feed, announced their split via mutual manager Phil Viardo. But Peter Brady and his much-younger vixen wife aren't the only famous duo to have trouble in paradise; here's a look at other celebrity couples who've called it quits in 2011.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver

The Terminator-turned-Governator's 25-year marriage to Shriver came came to an abrupt end in mid-May amid revelations that he fathered a love child with a former employee. The woman in question, identified as Mildred Patricia "Patty" Baena, allegedly gave birth to Arnie's son right around the same time that Maria delivered the couple's fourth child, Christopher, who was born in 1997. Ouch.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz

Simpson fell out with her Fall Out Boy in February 2011 after just under three years of marriage, citing the ever-popular irreconcilable differences excuse on her dissolution of marriage docs. Since then, however, the couple has been out and about on more than one occasion as a complete family with oddly-named son Bronx Mowgli, and rumblings of a possible reconciliation have emerged. Will it happen? Who knows, but apparently Papa Simpson will have to get out of the way if Ashlee and Pete want to make a go of it.

Olivia Wilde and Tao Ruspoli

Hugh Laurie's "House" co-star and her Italian prince hubby broke things off in March of 2011, with Wilde --like fellow filer Simpson-- checking the 'irreconcilable differences' box on the Big D paperwork. The actress was candid about her feelings during a May interview with Glamour, blaming youth --she was a tender 18 when she and Ruspoli tied the knot-- for the end of ther fairy tale.

Melissa Gilbert and Bruce Boxleitner

Sixteen years of marriage proved enough for the "Little House on the Prairie" star, who separated from Boxleitner in March and requested privacy while dealing with the technicalities of her impending divorce. Can't quite place her ex? Boxleitner most recently appeared in 2010's "Tron: Legacy."
