Kardashian Curse or Disney Curse?
Adrienne Bailon is another Disney star caught up in a nude photo scandal. While Disney creates and markets characters, movies and TV shows to children, their stars, who are teens and older, seem to have their own agendas, not fully realzing that as stars there is very little room for privacy. Cheetah Girl Adrienee Bailon and her nude photos join other Disney stars Miley Cyrus, Vanessa Hudgens, and in the hall of shame of questionable photo scandals.
Taking Photos for Boyfriends
In many of these situations involving nude photo scandals, including Adrienne Bailon's photos, the photos where taken for an audience of one, a boyfriend. The same technology that makes these impromptu photo sessions so easy is also the same technology that makes it so dangerous. Any young woman or girl who is taking a photo of herself needs to be aware that the photo could be found or stolen and published or uploaded online.
The adult public is growing tired of these photo scandals, and are garnering less and less sympathy for these stars, including Adrienne Bailon, who are willing taking the pictures of themselves and hoping to keep them private.
Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon
Adrienne Bailon, 25, is upset over the leak of the "semi-nude" photos. She is considering legal action, according to her representation. (NY Daily News) The Cheetah Girls have made albums, Disney Channel movies and a TV show.
Disney Stars and Nudity?
Disney stars and nudity, shouldn't those be two phrases we don't see together? The nude photo scandals attached to young girls at Disney, and girls who play even younger girls on Disney TV shows, is almost starting to feel like a marketing ploy. Disney continues to gloss over the nude photo scandals of their female stars, and they continue to profit.
Disney either doesn't seem to see the pattern here, or are they just getting used to turning today's young stars into tomorrow's sexpots. What type of message is Disney sending to elementary and tween girls who make up a large portion of the Disney audience? Girls idolize these Disney stars and leave messages on articles stating, "I want to be just like you."
One of the issues, as in the case of Adrienne Bailon and Vanessa Hudgens is that the women are portraying characters that are younger than their actual years.
There was a minor scandal involving Vanity Fair magazine photos of young Miley Cyrus, aka Hannah Montana. Before that self-portraits of teen queen Miley Cyrus in her underwear were leaked when someone hacked into her phone. Disney continues to work with Miley Cyrus.
Vanessa Hudgens
Like drienne Bailon, Disney's High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens also had a nude photo scandal when a couple of "private" photos of her were leaked online. Disney continues to work with Vanessa Hudgens.
Not Hillary Duff
One young star who has managed to keep it together, and keep her clothes on is Hillary Duff. Hillary Duff, formerly Lizzie McGuire on Disney, now a singer and movie star has managed success without a nude photo scandal.
Thank You, Nickelodeon
Nickelodeon child stars have done better than Adrienne Bailon and other Disney stars, at least so far. With Britney Spears as the biggest Mickey Mouse club kid turned sexpot, it's no wonder these Disney stars are eager to shed their innocent images.
The exception would be Jamie Lynn Spears, a Nickeodeon star who had to deal with being a pregnant teen star. She also was involved in a photo scandal, where someone allegedly tried selling photos of her breastfeeding her newborn baby.
Amanda Bynes
Amanda Bynes, for example, the start of The Amanda Show on Nickelodeon, has managed to move on from TV to movies, and she has been able to shine as a comedic and sexy young woman, without demeaning herself.
Melissa Joan Hart
Melissa Joan Hart was a child star on Nickelodeon's Clarissa Explains it All. She has gone on to make Sabrina: The Teenage Witch and a number of TV movies. Melissa Joan Hart, unlike Disney star Adrienne Bailon, is another young actress who has been able to avoid a photo scandal.

Interesting comparison between the Nickelodeon kids and Disney kids. Hmm, one would think the opposite would happen because of Disney's reputation.
Interesting! This is the first I've heard about this incident. My daughter and I love the Cheetah Girls! Unfortunately, when taking pictures, giving out personnel information or whatever, you are at risk of being exposed.
Disney is not what it used to be.
It is hard I must say that many of these pictures are truly taken with boyfriends whom these young girls believe themselves to love. But when you are smart enough and experienced enough to be in the spot light like this your intelligence should take over and tell you not to do something EVER that will come back and bite you in the bum.
I'd care more if she were younger. She's not a Cheetah girl... she's a Cheetah woman. She's 25 for goodness' sakes. You would think that after all of the body shots that are leaked that folks would learn not to have these types of things on their computers or elsewhere. She should have, at the very least, put a password on her laptop or gotten one with biometrics.
People representing Disney should know better.

Good grief, at what point does "gee, famous person, let's take off all your clothes, take a picture, but we won't show them to anyone" actually start sounding like a bad idea to these girls? Great article!
For most of these people the only talent they have is their pysical "assests". At some point they must justify their fame.
