In a nutshell, an AdSense Revenue Sharing site runs the same ubiquitous ads you see pretty much everywhere. The difference is that on a certain percentage of pages with member created content the members Adsense code is used instead of the site's. This allows the sites to reward those who generate the content (and thus the traffic) without having to deal with accounting themselves. The members can easily track the number of impressions, clicks, and revenue they are receiving through Google's Adsense interface, meaning it's essentially zero work for the site administrators.
Over the last year or so a number of AdSense Revenue sharing blog communities have come and gone. These communities tend to have higher traffic both from their members and from search engines since they essentially act as blog aggregators collecting content from numerous bloggers onto one primary domain. Many also become "second homes" for their regulars as they develop relationships with other members through commenting, etc. New bloggers will be able to get their foot in the door of Adsense while building their traffic, and even established bloggers can benefit from a little extra revenue as well as the other members of the communities. If nothing else, they're a good way to get links back to your primary Web site.
I've had some success with the following revenue sharing blogs:
- Blogger Party - This is a very community oriented site and seems to attract a younger crowd. Blogger Party shows your ads 50% of the time on pages you create.
- Senserely Yours - Not only does Seneserely include your AdSense ads on all pages that you create but they also share a portion of all the adsense ads on the site. They operate on a point system, where the more content you supply the more often your ads will be shown.
- Your Blog In - Essentially a stripped down Blogger with a 70% AdSense revenue share. They offer subdomains on more than 15 different primary domains.
- Blog Evolve - A relative newcomer, Blog Evolve is forming quite a community. They have a 50% AdSense revenue share.
One of the nicest things for new bloggers is that, of those communities listed above, only Blog Evolve requires original content. This means that you can do a quick rewrite of any of your blog posts (or cut 'n' paste for the truly time-crunched) for these sites. Essentially having them do double (or triple) duty for you when it comes to generating revenue. I'm always on the lookout for similar programs, so check back for reviews of future programs I discover.

There's quite a few other sites that do this; some blogs, some not. Here's a big list:

A few of them even give 100% share now (I guess they hope to make their revenue from their own posts and other pages on the site). Pretty cool.
