How about this from the great Craigslist: We had 1 CL account and placed 3 ads in the financial (different ads obviously as they don't allow duplicates) virtually every day and after about 3-4 weeks CL put the account on hold. Supposedly a temporary hold, but trust me its permanent! Has this happened to anyone else and/or does anyone know why as we were fully complying to CL's rules. We are 1 family trying to make a few bucks advertising and cannot afford to pay to advertise so we thought CL would be great. As it turns out they really don't want anyone advertising unless it is for an old bike someone's selling. Heck, ever try & advertise for something wanted; gets flagged almost every time. We all need to boycott them. All CL really has to do to eliminate a lot of the spam is charge $1 for every ad. most real people would pay the $1 (probably even us)!
