Adult Halloween Party Ideas

Volume II

Okay, so it's safe to say that Halloween isn't just for kids these days. Halloween is fun for everyone, especially when dressing up and partying is involved. so, if you are planning on throwing an adult themed Halloween party, here are some ideas to make sure that it will be a memorable one (if you can remember what happened!)

First thing you will want to do is decide on how many people you will want to invite. If your party is anything like the parties that i give or go to , then the amount of people that are actually invited is actually less than the amount of people that show up. Generally, people will bring friends and possibly, those friends will bring friends. So, just remember to have and excess of liquor and food.

Next step would be to order the alcohol. If you are going to consume a large amount of beer, be prepared to order a keg. This may take a while, due to the fact that some stores have to order the keg, so give yourself enough time to be able to order it and have it shipped in. Also, don't wait to get the liquor because the liquor stores will possibly be busy on Halloween. It's always a good idea to get started early.

You know that with adults, people get hungry. So, to keep the growling stomach at bay, be prepared to have food. Ordering pizzas can be good, but can get expensive so, in order to cook a lot of food at a decent price keep in mind making things such as finger foods. Ideas like: meatballs, small sandwiches, cheese trays, veggie trays, meat trays, dips, potato and macaroni salads are all easy to make and can be affordable. Visit www.fabulousfoods.com for awesome Halloween food ideas.

Next comes the fun part, thinking of games for the party. Yes, adults can have party games also. One game is called pass the pumpkin. You will need to buy a very small pumpkin, with the stem removed (cut off). Then the people get into a line and the first person starts the game by placing the pumpkin under their chin and passing it to the next person. The pumpkin can be passed using any body part except the hands as long as the pumpkin doesn't drop. The person that drops the pumpkin then takes a drink from their drink (generally alcohol). This game can get very fun, the more you drink, the more you drop it, it can be very funny. Of course there is the always amusing game of twister. Nothing can be more amusing that watching grown adults play twister in their Halloween costumes.

If your party is a costume party, which it better be, after all ... it's Halloween, then you can also have a Halloween costume party. Pick the five best costumes of the night and line them up, as you point to each of the people have your guests scream for the one they like the best. The person who gets the loudest screams is the winner. At the parties I have gone to, the winner (they should be 21 or older) would receive a bottle of liquor. And the runner up would receive trial sized alcoholic drinks.

Remember, if you are planning a party where alcohol is served, be smart and don't let anyone drink and drive. Always make sure that you have enough room for people to crash in case they can't drive and do not have a sober ride. Adult parties can be a lot of fun, but only if everyone gets home safe! And for your best bet, do not allow anyone under 21 to drink, because you can get into a lot of trouble.
Hopefully, these ideas helped in making your Halloween party a fun one. And remember, be smart and be safe!

Another fun idea for an adult Halloween Party activity is a themed Scavenger or Treasure Hunt. Check out http://www.mastersofthehunt.com/halloween-haunted-hunt.php for a "Haunted Hunt" that was designed to be held during an adult Halloween party. It is professionally designed with cool graphics and will add a whole new element to your party. Guests compete in a clever hunt that incorporates puzzles and challenges, some utilizing the party décor, while still allowing guests to mingle and have fun with the other elements of the party.
