Number seven is a special dinner. Don't just go to any restaurant. Take them to where you went on your first date. Or, perhaps where you got married. Make it a special place. Valentine's Day has to be thought out. Last minute, easy plans are a disaster.

Number eight is planning an item together. Perhaps, you both would much rather have a new television or Wii system than a dinner out. If you both like practical things, buy something you both like. But, be sure this is agreed to in advance and still buy them candy and flowers.

Number nine is a weekend away. A ski weekend or a trip to a lake may be the thing you need. Everyone likes to get away. If this is feasible, look into it. You may want to give them a piece of luggage as a gift with the date and place of the trip inside if you are not going right away. It's an unexpected treasure inside that will add to the fun.
