Advanced Acne Treatments

Photodynamic Therapy is a very new treatment that is also called Light Therapy. This new Light Therapy has been shown to be relatively successful I dealing with acne. This little zapper is a laser and the doctors will put on a topical medication that is called aminolevulinic acid. Once the doctor has lathered your beautiful face with this stuff then you will sit under the light for 15-30 minutes.

The thing about this treatment is that you will not get to see any results the first time. You will actually have to have this done to you 3-5 times before you will notice any real results. This can be discouraging especially if you are not rich and would like to see results sooner. This procedure is very time consuming and expensive. Also, if you don't see any results after the fifth time you are mostly likely never going to see results.
