Once it was thought that the cards are only good for those who are frequent casino visitors but the tables have turned.

The Player Club Card is great for everyone. Who does not want to gain rewards as they play? Yes, its true the more you play the higher your rewards will be. If you only go once a month you most likely will not be earning a free room stay. Having previously worked in a casino as a players extra representative I can tell you first hand the value of that free little card. If you are not then they move onto the next person and you will not even realize what you have missed.

If they want to send me $20 in free play or extend a hotel discount to me I want them to know where to send it. Casinos are notorious for running promotions. Often during a span of a month they will set aside a few days and have a double points or double rewards offering. During that time if you play with your card you will be able to earn rewards more quickly; at a rate of 2 to 3 times over the regular offerings. If you do not have a card then there is no way for them to contact you.

The biggest complaint or hesitation I see when it comes to signing up for the Player Club Card is the fact that the casino can see what you are spending and on what games. Yes, casinos can track your play when you use the Player Club Card. However, is that really such a big hindrance? I mean after all as soon as you pull onto casino grounds they start monitoring you with cameras. There are no places, with the exception of the restroom, where you can go and be camera free in a casino. Essentially, security at any casino is tracking your every move. If you really object having big brother watching you then casinos may not be for you. By giving up a little privacy you can gain big rewards with a Player Club Card.
