Adventure Parks Located in Alabama

Alabama has a few different adventure parks that you probably didn't even know they had. While they focus more on water rides, they still have some fun parks. Here is a list of what parks Alabama actually has.

Alabama Adventure

You get in two different parks for one price. The main amusement park has over 21 different rides and over 10 different places to eat and shop. You also get into the Splash Beach water park which also has over 10 different slides and water waves for you to ride. Some you use tubes on and others you don't have to. They provide the tubes for the tube rides so that's less that you have to bring. Summer concerts are another plus when it comes to this awesome theme park. Southern Adventures
Huntsville
Price $29.50 Adults, $25.00 Children 4-12

While this adventure park is known for their water park, they have good amusement park rides as well. Between the two different parks you will find: Two adventure golf courses, Water Park, Amazon café, Go-Kart track, carnival rides, batting cages, bumper cars, roller coaster simulator, Rock climbing wall and an entire area filled with video redemption games. Redemption games are video games where you earn tickets and you can turn them in for great prizes. The video games run on tokens that have to be purchased separately from your admission price. There is something here for every one of all ages to have fun.

Waterville USA
Gulf Shores
Price-$29.95 Adults, $18.95 Children under 42"

The amusement park is open year round and the water park is open during summer time. When both parks are open you pay the same admission price to get two parks, so you get two parks for the price of one. While the water park is the main attraction they have lots of other things to do here. Besides the water park you will find Go-Karts, Wooden roller coasters, Laser tag, mini golf, house of bounce, trampoline thing and a flowrider. Flowrider is one of the most popular attractions and it's not included in the admission price. Flowrider is a stimulated surfing ride. You can do stand up surf or boogie board surf. You can also pay by the hour for this ride.

DeSoto Caverns Park

While you do have to pay for each ride here, it's worth it. They are not like your typical rides that only last a minute or two, these will last longer. They also have attraction packs you can purchase. 5 ride pack for $19.99 or 10 ride pack for $29.99. Some of the rides include the funny toilet race ride where you race real toilets that have motors on them, Lost trail maze which is ¾ of an acre, rock and roll hamster wheel, wall climbing, Squirt gun maze and many more. You will have a lot of chances to play with your kids, get wet and just have some fun. The tour takes you though a cave where you will walk 1/3 of a mile and get to see thousands of cave formations. It's a great experience for everyone.
