Regardless what type of business you run, you can benefit from Google's offerings, especially there search-based keyword tool which will allow you to see what keyword opportunities are out there that you can use to maximize your businesses visibility.
I personally love the search based facility Google has to offer as you can use the keyword results from your findings and put them/export them into the Google Adwords program, whereby you buy keywords and search terms to once again increase your search ability and visibility. Using the two programs alongside one another allows me to see what's popular within my target market and how I can use this information.
Google's local business search is fantastic. The search lists your business and helps customers find where you are based quickly and easily. This is an essential program that you have to be in it to get your business noticed. To get your business listed just head to Google's places page and input your businesses information, you can update your listing anytime, and this little marketing gem from Google will help get your business found on a quick Google maps search.
Google's Adwords program is very popular as you get to pay for keywords that customers will search for in Google and associate with your business, you will reach more of your target market using the Adwords program which is quick and simple to sign up for, and what's even better is that you only pay for what you want, so its an affordable marketing medium that must be taken advantage of. If you want more than just words then don't forget that with the Adwords program you can opt for a variety of options including image ads.
Marketing and advertising with Google is ideal for your small business as you get to stay in control of your budget and you get to monitor the performance of whatever platforms you choose to use, meaning you will not end up paying to continue using a marketing method if it is not working for you and your business.
Marketing on Google is easy and pain free. I would highly recommends spending a few hours browsing what Google has to offer will help you decide what tools are right if not essential for your marketing success.
