Candida in your mouth shows as a white scum and you can feel tired frequently. Athlete's foot is another regular problem associated with Candida as is brittle nails that tear easily.

If candida shows up on your skin it can appear as itchy, brown patches which may leave you feeling self-conscious. The discomfort of the itching can really drive you insane and if you have Candida in a groin area, for a man there can be stinging sensations while urinating and thrush in the case of women. So many people suffer from Candida and feel below par, fatigued which can stop them getting on with their lives. In rare cases Candida can add greatly to the risk of hemmorrhids which cause an anal itch.

Your Doctor can generally find a Candida infection through a routine check however, if left and not treated, you may have to go to a Hospital to be treated. The usual course is a two week course of anti-fungal medication and you are advised to stay off foods like sugar and alcohol, which the Candida feeds on. Candida can make you crave sugar and yeast in beer products. These items must be crossed off your list of things to eat along with mushrooms, because they are a fungi, and stay away from dried fruits due to the possibility of mould.

Candida will not kill you however if it takes over your body you can feel miserable, your system feels out of tune and you may show signs if Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Women are mainly associated with having Candida; thrush and cystitis, however, men can be affected too. If you do have a urinary tract infection try Cranberry Juice as this is an excellent form of stopping the stinging associated with urinating.

The fact that Candida exists in a healthy body often leads to confusion over correct diagnosis. Candida lives in balance with other flora in your body, so it's not necessarily a problem in itself. It does become a problem when there is an overgrowth or if it is triggered by antibiotice, immuno-depressant drugs and the Pill can also aggravate an onset. Candida thrives in the warm, moist areas, like your moth, the anus, vagina and the penis. Very often men carry Candida but may not suffer with any symptoms. However, Thrush can be passed back and forward between partners and needs to be medically treated.

People with Candida re prone to diarrhoea and stomach upsets. The other symptoms include extreme fatigue, and Candida has been liked with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and even ME. If you suffer from Candida it is easy to rectify: visit your GP and get rid of Candida out of your system.
