The Chargers could have not been in a worst position going into their most important game of the season so far. With a banged up quarterback, running, and tight end, their most important pieces to the Chargers puzzle are already sub par going in. How could the Chargers win this game? Simply put they can't. It is just unfortunate that they would make a great Super Bowl run with so many injuries. Amazingly they shut everyone up in the Colts game last week but this probably won't happen again this week.
And what else can someone say about the Patriots that people haven't already said? They are the best team the NFL has ever seen. They make quick work of just about all teams the face and the playoffs will be no different. QB Tom Brady is having the time of his life, destroying every other team's defense. They were already a Super Bowl caliber team so with Randy Moss it is only set in stone. This team has won plenty of Super Bowls so this is just a step in the road to get there.
The Chargers have been an exciting team to watch all season. But in this AFC championship game, they will need every bit of firepower imaginable. With a myriad of injured players, this Chargers team is perhaps going into the most challenging game of their lives. With the Patriots stomping through the NFL, not losing a single game, they are the easiest indication of favorite if their ever was one.
