The NFL schedules were just recently released so now I can tell you about it. Here are the schedules for the teams in the AFC South which includes Indianapolis, Houston, Jacksonville, and Tennessee.

American Football Conference South

Indianapolis Colts

Indianapolis has strengths which are a given and have been for as long as Peyton Manning has been there. They had slews of injuries last year which decimated their receiving corps. This year the Colts drew the 5th toughest schedule: this years opponents had a 133-123 record last year. Indianapolis will travel 9,554 miles to and from road games this year.

Here is the 2011 schedule for the Colts.

Houston Texans

Houston has the 2010 NFL leading rusher in Arian Foster and former Virginia Cavalier quarterback Matt Schwab. Last year they were 6-10 a year after posting their first ever winning season. The Texans drew the NFL's 10th toughest schedule this year: this year's opponents had a 132-124 record last year. Houston will travel 13,184 miles to their road games in 2011.

Tennessee Titans

Tennessee has a new head coach in Mike Munchak--a Penn State alum-- who was an offensive lineman as an NFL player. He will bring changes to the Titans that we'll have to wait to see develop. Running back Chris Johnson brings a lot to the Jags offense. Vince Young had conflicts last year with former coach Jeff Fischer. We'll also have to wait to see how Mike Munchak deals with the potentially great quarterback who has been all but traded by sports reporters on tv. The Titans drew the 25th toughest schedule in the NFL: this year's opponents had a 125-131 record last year.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville has a 2011 schedule--the 16th toughest in the NFL-- that contains nine teams that had winning records last year. The Jaguars' 2011 opponents had a 133-123 last year. Jacksonville will travel 9,944 miles this season to road games.
