Affordable Baby Gift Ideas

Are you searching for that perfect baby gift for someone that won't leave your pockets empty? Searching for the perfect baby gift can be a daunting task! There are so many baby items available for purchase and advertised to be a necessity. As an expectant first time mom I would like to share some gift ideas that I found to be needed, but won't leave you penniless.

1. Bottles, nipples, and pacifiers: Rather the mother is breast feeding or bottle feeding having bottles is very much needed and you can never have enough. Most bottle packages will cost between $10-$20 unless you are getting ones with fancy designs on them. Find out what style the mother likes and there you have a much appreciated and needed gift idea. Nipples and pacifiers are cheap accessories you can add to your bottle package and they usually do not cost more than $5 per package.

2. Bibs and Burp Cloths: Burp cloths are something every new parent will use and it's a good idea to have at least 10. While bibs may not be used right away, in a few months they are going to be needed and every mother is going to want at the very least 10 bibs so they are not constantly having to wash them. Bibs and burp cloths vary in prices depending on the size package you get them, but most will not exceed $20. Another bonus is there are so many choices so you can personalize them to the gender of the baby and have fun picking out the patterns you find adorable and irresistible.

3. Toiletries: Every baby is going to need baby lotion, baby soap, baby shampoo, baby powder, diaper rash cream, teething gel, brush and comb, nail clippers, and thermometer. Picking your favorite toiletries and putting them together in a basket would make for a nice and creative gift. Simply pick the items you find most useful and decide your price range. You can add several items for under $20 or add more if you have a larger budget. They are something every parent is going to need and something you can never have too much of.

4. Sheets: Babies are going to go through sheets and parents are not going to want to do laundry every day just to have a set of clean sheets-this makes sheets an excellent gift. There is a huge variety to pick from and most sheets cost under $7 unless you buy them in packages which can cause them to be a little more costly.

5. Towels and Washcloths: Towels and washcloths are also some great gift ideas that parents are going to need an abundance of and what's better is there are some adorable designs to pick from to help you feel like it's a more personal gift! These items can be purchased as a set or individually. You should be able to find sets and individual items for under $10 in most stores.

There are so many gift ideas to pick from, but aren't necessarily something the parent will use. Above you have several great baby gift ideas for all under $20 and all these gifts will be highly appreciated and in demand from parents! Gift cards are also another excellent baby gift idea if you feel indecisive on what the parents will need. Gift cards allow the parent to go and buy items they will find useful and in styles they like or help take money off the more expensive items they will be purchasing. If you find yourself having a bigger budget and are wondering what some gift ideas are needed the diaper genie, bouncer chairs, crib mobiles, baby bath tub, mattress pads, bobby pillows, and sleep positioner are some great gifts that make things more convenient for mom and dad and are usually no more than $50.

I hope you enjoyed these great baby gift ideas and found them useful. Have fun shopping for the expectant parents and baby and always remember to include gift receipts just in case!
