Every guest room in this Colorado bed and breakfast is uniquely decorated, each with its own gas fireplace, flat screen TV with Dish Network, private bathroom with Jacuzzi bathtub, cozy slippers and bathrobes, armoire and drawers for personal storage, complimentary Wi-Fi, bedside reading light and a beautiful queen size bed.
Other features that make Mountain Comfort one of the best bed and breakfasts in Colorado are the gas fireplaces throughout, luxurious seating areas, hot tub on the back deck, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets and of course, the gourmet breakfasts each morning.
I've stayed at the Mountain Comfort Bed and Breakfast twice now. There's so much to do within short distances from the bed and breakfast; skiing, hiking, snowshoeing, horseback riding, bike trails and outlet shopping. With several ski resorts in the vicinity, we were able to ski all day, and then make the short trip back to the bed and breakfast in time for a late afternoon nap before dinner. Each night, we went to a local restaurant and then returned for board games and a late night treat from our hostess, Sandy Dumas. We really enjoy Millonzi's Delicatessen & Restaurant in nearby Fairplay, Colorado.
The Mountain Comfort Bed and Breakfast really offers it all- comfort, modern amenities, genuine hospitality and budget-friendly prices for the area. Most mountain accommodations can range from $500-$1000 or even more, and they lack the serenity, space and coziness of a place like Mountain Comfort Bed and Breakfast. I encourage anyone- families, couples, girls- or guys-only weekend trips- to stay at the Mountain Comfort Bed and Breakfast in Alma, Colorado. You will not forget this truly amazing and rejuvenating weekend (or longer!) vacation.
