They play a large variety of upcoming bands and for the most part a lot of their shows have no charge or at a minimum charge under $10.00 for their shows.
The Peacock Room (www.thepeacockroom.com) is located at 1321 North Mills Ave in Orlando; their number is 407-228-0048. They have wonderful drink specials to get your night going each night. They offer a wide variety of up and coming music artists as well as their walls being covered with art work by many newcomers. Their atmosphere is sophisticated but comfortable. Their entertainment managers love to search out "unusual" entertainment. They normally charge a $5.00 cover charge.
The Copper Rocket Pub (www.copperrocketpub.com) is located at 106 Lake Ave in Maitland; their number is 407-645-0069. They are located just minutes from downtown Orlando. They offer music lovers a wide variety of music, great food, and have nightly drink specials. This establishment is also under new Ownership, so if you haven't been back in a while, now is your chance to check them out again. Some of their shows have no cover charge, the rest being under $10.00.
The Social (www.thesocial.org) is located at 54 North Orange Av, in Orlando; their number is 407-246-1419. This establishment is a huge venue for new music artists. They do have a cover charge for all events; it runs from $8.00 and up.
Ah now how many people haven't heard of the House of Blues (www.hob.com)? Not many if they love to get out and about. While located all over the USA, this House of Blues is located at 1490 Buenna Vista Ave; their contact number is 407-934-blue. They have concerts from undiscovered musicians to well established artists. They offer a nice menu as well as drink specials. They do have a cover charge for most events, but they also offer free shows.
