1. Farmington Veterinary Clinic in Farmington, Minnesota
This is the clinic I take my dog to, so I am most familiar with the staff and prices. The staff are all very friendly, and remembers my dog's name, even though we only got him six months ago. Office visits are very affordable (usually around $40.) Their surgical procedures are more expensive, but that's to be expected.
The Veterinary Clinic is open from 9 am until 6, except for Thursday when it is open until 8 pm. It's also open from 9 am to 1 pm on Saturdays, which is really convenient, especially if you just need a routine appointment. The clinic is located right off of Hwy 3 at 645 8th Street in Farmington. For more information visit the website at www.farmingtonvetclinic.com.
2. Burnsville Animal Clinic
I've heard great things about this clinic. The staff is friendly and the prices are affordable. The typical office visit is about $40. The surgical procedures can run a little bit more expensive, but Burnsville is a bigger city than Farmington, so that's to be expected.
If you visit the website at www.burnsvilleanimalclinic.health.officelive.com, you can get a virtual tour of their office and read about each of the staff members.
This clinic is open from 8 am to 6 pm, except for on Wednesdays when it is open until 8 pm. The downside to this clinic is that they aren't open on Saturdays, so that's a bit of an inconvenience. They are located at 13478 Nicollet Ave. South in Burnsville.
3. Burnsville Parkway Animal Hospital
This is a full service animal hospital so the prices will be a bit more expensive, but still reasonable. This clinic features all of the regular care you would expect but also offers boarding, something that is nice when you want to go out of town. Having your pet somewhere where you know they are safe and the staff is knowledgeable of the pet's your history can be reassuring when you are out of town.
They have reasonable hours as well. The hospital is open from 7 am to 6 pm, except for on Thursdays when they are open until 8 pm. They are also open from 8 am to noon on Saturdays, so that is an extra convenience as well. They are located at 950 W. Burnsville Parkway in Burnsville. Check out the website for a tour of the hospital at www.bpah.vetsuite.com.
