A Haiku Poem

dawn shower sprays on
African Gray Parrot screams
steam cloud safety song

My sister had an African Gray Parrot that lived with me off and on. He liked the shower, the rain and Bach's Bradenburg Concerti. I gues the noise filled all spectrums of sound or something. He's a nice memory for National Poetry Month.

The African Grey Parrot is listed on CITES appendix II, which restricts trade of wild caught species, because wild populations can not sustain trapping for the pet trade.
