Afrin PureSea Nasal Rinse Specifics
Afrin PureSea Nasal Rinse is a hydrating nasal rinse made with 100% natural and purified sea water. The sea water is taken from the Bay of Saint-Malo in France and is supposed to have excellent mineral salt content. The Afrin PureSea Nasal Rinse is a gentle nasal rinse, with no chemical preservatives.
The way to use Afrin PureSea Nasal Rinse is fairly easy to learn, though it may take some practice for those who have never used a nasal type rinse before. Afrin PureSea Nasal Rinse should only be used by one person, to avoid cross contamination and the product should be rinsed with water after each use.
The container for Afrin PureSea Nasal Rinse is 4 ounces, with a tilted top to make application easier. Children over the age of 2 may use Afrin PureSea Nasal Rinse with adult supervision. The recommended usage for Afrin PureSea Nasal Rinse is up to 4 times per day, as needed.
How Afrin PureSea Nasal Rinse Performed
Prior to trying Afrin PureSea Nasal Rinse, I had tried a store brand nasal rinse on previous occasions with mixed results. Afrin PureSea Nasal Rinse seemed gentler, yet stronger for cleansing nasal passages. Allergy season produces a number of irritants and when I began to show signs of allergies this season, I tried Afrin PureSea Nasal Rinse. The first time I attempted to use Afrin PureSea Nasal Rinse, I found the applicator easy to assemble. You have to break the seal and insert the plastic applicator, and this was easy to do.
A nasal rinse should be done near or over a sink or at least a towel, as the key is to allow the rinse to cleanse out the nasal passages by going in one side and out the other. Tilting your head is necessary and Afrin PureSea Nasal Rinse did a good job of cleansing without further irritating my nasal passages. The retail price at the local drugstore was around $10 for the 4 ounce bottle. I would recommend Afrin PureSea Nasal Rinse for those who want some added comfort this allergy season, and for those who also rely on over-the-counter or perscription medications for allergy or sinus problems. Afrin PureSea Nasal Rinse is non-medicated so it can be used as an additional remedy.
