After the Revolution

After the revolution
the old guard must go
down to the Potomac
and hang from the cherry trees
in spring.
The barking dogs
must be silenced.
The rotting skull
of Rush Limbaugh
rests atop a pike
overlooking the mall
and watches the Genickschuss
of the Sardinenpackung
liberal hypocrites
with empty eyes.
Corporate heads roll
down Wall St.
and congress is gassed
in their chambers.
A kindly knife silently
quiets the old senators
and the President walks
the plank from the top
of the Washington Monument.
A young man named Che warns
the onlookers and executioners.
"Do not make these mistakes again.
The killing is over, forever."
