With classes ranging from how to incorporate fiber into your diet - a key factor in preventing cancer, to how to discover daily food alternatives in your diet that lead to a healthier life, these classes are real gems in the world of childhood recreation. What better way to spruce up your child's day than bringing them to a fun, interactive class full of tasty foods and new friends!
Classes at the venue are totally free to attend, and are held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted. This time slot makes it perfect as an "after-school activity" that you as the parent can really get involved in. The class is designed by doctors, nutrition experts, and registered dieticians who have a real grip on the epidemic of cancer and exactly how we can prevent or treat it through our diets. Through hands-on experience and demonstrations that show how to create simple and healthy meals at home, you can your child can have quality and informative time together.
As well all know, there is much evidence in society and books as to how our diet directly affects our bodies and overall health. It has been found that plant-based foods increase our body's ability to fight infection and increases immune strength. When you have a healthy and strong immune system, many common diseases can be thwarted.
The ultimate goal of this free, informative class is to empower cancer patients, survivors, and friends and family to create healthy meals and implement basic cooking skills so as to have a healthy and nutritious diet that can serve for the better in the long-run.
