Age of Enlightenment: Liberation Theology Explained

Spiritual Growth

In this age of enlightenment, many are looking to liberation through spiritual growth. In my earlier article, Spiritual Growth and How It Affects Health, I mentioned liberation theology. From comments made from my readers, I decided to go into further discussion of this topic.

Spiritual Growth

If one uses a search engine on liberation theology, many catholic sites come up. However, before Catholics used this term, Hindu scriptures explained liberation and methods to attain it. Liberation is considered freedom from the material world and entry into the Kingdom of God spoken of by Jesus in the scriptures.

What is the Kingdom of God and how is it within us? What Jesus is pointing to, as well as the Hindu scriptures, is to cleanse the inner person so that we realize God lives through us. This is only achieved when one keeps the mind on God at all times and through any circumstances. When we look outside of ourselves for answers, we are not looking to God for His Kingdom.

Liberation Theology

Through liberation, one realizes God, which frees us from sickness, depression and all lower emotions. This is why I bring the subject up in alternative health articles because after working for clients for so many years, it was easy to see the emotional drain many experience and because of this, their health is affected.

We are mind, body and spirit and when all is in alignment with God, miraculous occurrences take place. There are many people aware of the power of alignment who offer techniques and some understanding.

We can also read Jesus words and follow his example of meditation. There are also many books dedicated to just this example and they are helpful. http://www.godthearchitect.com/ It all comes down to surrender of our thoughts and emotions to God so that His Life flows through us.

Frankincense

Frankincense is commonly used in Auyverdic Medicine for anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-arthritic, and anti-prolifveric agent. Frankincense is valued for its effects on the respiratory system and studies are showing its use in fertility. In a study, Frankincense was used in male rats. It was found from resin ingestion, it posses a strong compound effect on fertility, mainly by affecting pituitary glands. Further studies are taking place to identify the mode of action of frankincense.

So, for good health, the body, mind and spirit should be aligned with God which is often a lifetime practice. Learn meditation which has many benefits to the practitioner. Scientific evidence shows Frankincense resin, used as incense, is beneficial during meditation, to our health as well as our spiritual awareness. With these practices, many will find liberation in this age of enlightenment.
